In this policy, we, us and our means Softora Pty Ltd trading as Swych Home Loans, ABN 87 684 014 819.
We are a Credit Representative (No. 575448) of Australian Finance Group Ltd (AFG), Australian Credit Licence 389087.
We recognise the importance of protecting your personal information and credit-related information. We handle that information in accordance with applicable privacy and credit reporting laws.

The information we collect will depend on the services we provide to you and the type of credit assistance you seek.
We may collect information such as:

- income, expenses, assets, liabilities and savings;
- bank account and transaction information;
- details about the finance you are seeking or currently hold;
- information from application forms, interviews, supporting documents and third parties you authorise us to deal with.
Credit-related information
We may also collect and hold credit-related information such as the type and amount of credit applied for, repayment history information, default information, information from credit reporting bodies, and other information relevant to a credit application or finance assessment.

We may use your information for purposes including:
- providing credit assistance and related services;
- assessing your eligibility for finance;

4. Privacy consent
In the course of providing credit assistance, we may ask you to give privacy consents or authorities that allow us to collect, use and disclose information to relevant parties, including lenders, service providers and our aggregator, where necessary to assist with your finance application or ongoing service needs.
If you do not provide certain information we request, we may not be able to provide the services you ask us to provide.

- AFG as our aggregator and licensee-related support network;
- lenders, banks and other credit providers;
- credit reporting bodies;
- insurers, valuers, solicitors, conveyancers and settlement service providers;
- identity verification providers;
- technology, administration and document service providers;
- any person you authorise us to communicate with on your behalf.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of the parties we work with, directly or indirectly, may use overseas service providers or support functions. Where personal information or credit-related information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate data handling and security arrangements are in place.

Our aggregator and related service providers may have their own privacy policies that describe overseas disclosure and support arrangements in more detail.
7. Credit reporting
We may collect credit-related information from, and disclose credit-related information to, credit reporting bodies and other credit providers where permitted by law and where relevant to your application.
Credit reporting bodies may include organisations such as Equifax, Experian and illion.
You may request access to credit-related information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if you believe it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
You may also contact the relevant credit reporting body directly in relation to your credit report.
8. Electronic identity verification
We may verify your identity electronically where permitted by law and where this forms part of our onboarding and finance application process.
This may include the use of government or third-party verification systems to confirm details on identity documents you provide, such as a driver licence or passport.
9. Security of your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information and credit-related information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
These steps may include physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect the information we hold.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct information if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.
